As the temperature heats up just by a tad, I felt brave enough to take off my cardi just to shoots these few photos.
Auckland weather is miserable! I can’t stress this enough. Although we don’t have what tropical countries call a wet season, I feel that we have it worse than them. At least during the wet season they experience torrential down pour at night or a few hours during the day, but here you hardly get a moment of sunshine in winter or if you do you’d be popping out your umbrella after about 10 minutes.
These few weeks will be so busy, getting back into the hang of things, going to work and teaching. I feel so fortunate (and nervous) that there is only 3 months to go until my big exam and then I can start a new leaf. Many people are inspiring me to step out of what I know I can do as a job and to do something completely different and out of my little square. I am so sick of this viscous routine of doing the same thing everyday, being too tired to go out after work or just having drinks with friends. I have some business plans up my sleeve which probably won’t be revealed until at least next year.
Anyway, I am going off on a tangent here. This outfit is a mix of old and new. The bodice is from Lara Parker (NZ designer) and the trousers are from Xenia. I visited their physical store in Brisbane and picked up several goodies which I will reveal later , these trousers being one of them. It’s very difficult to find such nice fitting trousers for my height and size. You can purchase their items online as well – xenia.com.au
The Lara Parker bodice I am selling on my Facebook page for $40 so take a look at that.
What I am wearing:
Lara Parker Bodice (available here ) , Floral Trousers from Xenia.com.au, Jeffrey Campbell Litas, Chanel Necklace.

Loving the bold trousers and print! They look amazing on you!
